Welcome to Serviceform! This article will guide you through the basics you need to know to create your serviceflow.

Let's build your first serviceflow!

After you login, click Serviceflows on the Dashboard page. Once you navigate to the 'Serviceflows' page click on 'Create a Serviceflow', which will give you 2 options:

  • Start from scratch - Build your own perfect serviceflow
  • Use a template - Get a head start by using a pre-defined template from a list of service industries and customise to make it your own.

If this is your first time building a serviceflow, we recommend you to choose the second option, 'Use a template'. Templates save you time. 

Either way, if you selected a ready to go template or started from scratch, you will see the serviceform editor below.

Change your serviceform's title

You can change your serviceflow's title to something you prefer by editing 'New Serviceflow' on the panel on top of the first question.

Add a new question

From a list of questions types on the left side, select anything based on the type of question you would like to ask your users. When you click on any of the element's, a screen will be added on to your serviceflow editor. We have explained the different types of questions here.

I am going to ask my respondents their favouite colour from out of four selected colours. So, from the list of elements, I chose 'Select one' as I want only want to allow my respondents to pick one answer.

Add a new option

With certain element types, you can add more options by clicking 'Add option'. This button will add another field to the question.

Add an image to an option

Click the Image element to add an image or icon to your answer. Only 1 image or icon is allowed per option.

Add a price to an option

You can add prices to certain question types you create. We have enabled dynamic pricing and it means that you can ask multiple questions with multiple options with various prices. And based on the different options your user selects until the completion of the serviceform, they will find that the total amount that needs to be paid is according to the options they have selected. Here is a list of elements where you can add prices to; 

  • Yes/No
  • Multiple choice
  • Multi select
  • Dropdown list

Edit a question

You can start editing fields by comparing the text on the editing panel (left side) and the live preview panel (right side)

Move an existing question

Click and drag the question number to re-arrange the order of a question. Simply drag the question and place it in your preferred position to switch the order of the questions. '

Tip: You can move the position of any option by dragging and dropping the icon next to any answer.

Delete a question

Hover the mouse over a question block on the serviceflow editor to reveal the X button at the top right corner. Click X to DELETE that question.

Duplicate a question

Hover the question block to reveal the CLONE button at the top left top. Click CLONE to DUPLICATE that question.
